Job Requirements

  • must possess a valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate a 21,000 lb truck and maneuver at loading docks
  • meet standards for driving under DOA fleet policy
  • ability to climb on and off truck beds
  • operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment
  • willing to work additional hours during urgent situations including holidays and weekends
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • pass criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • pass pre-employment drug screening if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • experience ordering and receiving goods
  • experience inspecting shipments and bills for accuracy
  • experience performing inventory counts and using related software
  • experience maintaining inventory and stocks
  • experience following up on missing items or invoice questions with vendors
  • experience supervising, training, and/or monitoring other staff on job duties

Job Duties

  • receive materials purchased for MSDF canteen and perform attendant bookkeeping functions
  • ship materials through common carrier and MSDF delivery system to intra-institution users
  • properly store received materials
  • maintain a neat, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • inspect shipments and verify accuracy of bills
  • supervise, train, and monitor other staff on job duties
  • perform inventory counts and use related software
