Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable and consistent transportation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Willingness to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
- Ability to stand and move for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to carry and balance serving trays
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by event schedules
- Excellent stamina and agility to navigate crowded and fast-paced environments
- Must be able to work in hot and humid environments
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of banquet service procedures and etiquette preferred
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing event dynamics
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable and consistent transportation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Willingness to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
Job Duties
- Set up banquet rooms as per event specifications including table settings and decorations
- Greeting and assisting guests during events ensuring a positive and memorable experience
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail
- Monitor and respond to guest needs to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen and catering staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for subsequent courses or events
- Always follow food service sanitation regulations along with health and safety guidelines
- Assist with post-event clean-up and storage of equipment
