Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (3-4 years exempt level)
- Experience in supply chain and international logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of customer service and EDI systems
- Understanding of international transportation negotiations
- Familiarity with SAP Symphony, SAP BPCS, and transportation management systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships
- Capable of working on-site at the Columbus, OH location

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Effective user of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerBI
- Experience in supply chain, international logistics operations, customer service, and EDI systems
- Knowledge of international transportation negotiations
- Familiarity with SAP Symphony, SAP BPCS, and Transportation Management Systems such as E2Open and Cargosmart
- Export/import transportation operations experience is desirable
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholder, and vendor management
Job Duties
- Allocate product to ensure maximum container utilization and minimize transportation costs
- Coordinate shipments with source warehouses and transportation providers
- Manage shipment of product from manufacturing and distribution locations to Abbott affiliates and direct customers worldwide
- Coordinate all required export/import documentation
- Handle communication concerning shipments promptly and accurately
- Monitor key performance indicators and develop corrective actions to improve performance
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase supply chain effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional teams to support integration of new business responsibilities
- Maintain customer and shipping requirements including system parameters, policies, and procedures
- Train customer service specialists and affiliates on supply chain processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external supply chain partners
- Act as customer representative in the Abbott Nutrition supply chain
- Analyze electronic freight payment systems and recommend enhancements
- Provide administration support for equipment controls with global transportation providers
- Assist in evaluation and implementation of EDI networks with transportation providers
- Manage transportation support functions including routing instructions and carrier service
- Present alternative transportation opportunities to management
- Review reports to drive process improvements
