As a vibrant part of the design team, the role focuses on a wide variety of projects that span residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial sectors. This dynamic position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse group of architecture professionals at different stages in their careers, both locally and virtually with colleagues in other offices. An essential feature of this role involves working under the guidance of a Project Architect while maintaining direct communication with the Principal or Partner in charge of each project.
Successful candidates for this position are expected to bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting. The role entails a robust blend of creative design development, technical drawing production, and project coordination. Team members will be involved in preparing concept materials, client presentations, and detailed architectural documentation adhering to quality and compliance standards. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in state-of-the-art architecture software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling and rendering applications such as Rhino, Enscape, and V-ray.

Job Requirements
- Five plus years of experience in general architectural practice with emphasis on residential sector
- Proficient in Revit
- Skilled in AutoCAD 3D modeling Rhino and rendering software Enscape V-ray
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic understanding of zoning planning and construction documentation
- Excellent graphic and organizational ability
- Capable of managing time effectively to meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Five plus years of experience in general architectural practice with at least two years focused on residential sector
- Knowledgeable with multi-family typology in design and construction experience in mid to large-size projects in New York is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of Revit
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling Rhino and rendering skills Enscape V-ray
- Basic understanding of technical aspects depending on area zoning planning construction documentation interiors preservation etc
- Knowledge of current architectural methodologies and design vocabularies
- Ability to condense categorize and present research and design ideas
- Excellent graphics and organization skills in Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop InDesign
- Ability to assist with all phases of a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
Job Duties
- Independently evaluate select and apply architectural solutions under direction of a Project Architect
- Investigate evaluate and assemble cohesive design and planning ideas meeting project needs
- Prepare concept materials and precedent images for internal and client presentations
- Produce design materials including 2D and 3D representations for client presentations and review
- Document and communicate design intent through diagrams drawings renderings and other media under supervision
- Coordinate work with consultants and internal BBB team
- Perform work to quality standards on all project documents for compliance with office standards client requirements code and zoning requirements
