Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- authorized to work in the United States
- access to reliable transportation
- must sign or clock in/out at the beginning and end of scheduled shifts
- proper uniform attire required
- must wear mandatory personal protective equipment during assigned shifts
- adhere to rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook
- demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees
- physically able to walk, bend, stoop, lift, reach, and push for extended periods
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to work in confined spaces
- able to walk and climb stairs repeatedly throughout the shift
- exposure to inclement weather including hot and cold temperatures is common
- must provide all necessary documentation for background checks and security clearances
- willing to report injuries, damages, or irregular activities promptly
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in aircraft cleaning or similar operational role is advantageous
- ability to read and understand flight schedules
- must pass FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas
- ability to secure appropriate airport authority or customs security badges if applicable
- valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles or equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- able to follow safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment
- dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
Job Duties
- perform tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor and outlined in the scope of work
- remove all trash from aircraft
- clean and restock all lavatories
- clean galley, all seats, seat back pockets, tray tables, and replace soiled magazines and sick bags
- conduct thorough security searches and submit all lost and found items to the immediate supervisor
- review and adhere to safety instructions when operating and driving ground equipment
- maintain company vehicles in a well-organized and clean manner
- assist in pre and post operation inspections of vehicles during the assigned shift
- review posted updates on cabin cleaning or ramp operations before each shift begins
- ensure all break room areas, warehouse areas, and dock areas are clean and free of debris
- perform duties in a consistently safe manner, ensuring no damage occurs to any company vehicles, airline vehicles, equipment or aircraft
- report any injury or property damage immediately to shift supervisor and provide written statements as requested
- immediately notify shift supervisor of any irregular activities that may impact service to airline partners
