Job Duties
- Conduct scheduled outbound calls to prospective patients, following up as needed for no-shows or unanswered calls
- answer inbound phone calls during scheduled hours, providing accurate information about services and treatment options
- respond promptly to real-time chat and text inquiries, maintaining a professional and empathetic tone
- learn about and communicate Lumin Health's treatment options, benefits, drawbacks, insurance coverage, timing, and other inquiries
- guide patients through the care process, from inquiry through intake, prior authorization, and scheduling treatment
- collect necessary patient information and ensure accurate documentation in internal systems
- schedule intake appointments and follow up to ensure smooth appointments
- coordinate with insurance team to facilitate prior authorizations
- communicate with internal operations teams and clinicians for complex questions
- ensure smooth handoff to patients' choice of treatment center
- utilize CRM and spreadsheets to track patient progress and manage relationships
- maintain organized records and communication logs
- provide feedback to improve patient informational resources
- collaborate with team members to enhance patient care processes during downtime
