Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- 2 or more years insurance verifications experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Must fulfill pre-employment conditions: tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, and reference checks
- Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with the law and company policy

Job Duties
- Check all resident admissions for insurance eligibility and essential information required for payment collection
- Correspond with third-party carriers and/or clients to obtain insurance data
- Verify and input data into the computer system
- Utilize automated eligibility systems to verify insurance coverage
- Ensure compliance with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
