Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Basic computer skills for recording and reporting
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Experience in housekeeping or custodial services
- Prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Understanding of safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Supervise room attendants and inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies
- Assign work to room attendants and train personnel in housekeeping duties
- Perform cleaning duties when necessary
- Post room occupancy records
- Adjust guests' complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment
- Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements
- Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear
- Check and count linens and supplies
- Aid in budget control through supervision of employees' use of linen, supplies, and equipment
- Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies
- Communicate with other hotel departments regarding problems needing attention
- Ensure key control policies are followed
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Inspect cleanliness in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms, and public areas
- Assist in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy
- Assign daily work tasks to employees
- Distribute keys and work assignments
- Complete follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms
- Ensure completion of the Housekeepers Report and communicate room status to Guest Services
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
- Report guest complaints or requests to appropriate departments
- Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Display a professional image through appearance and dress
