Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior purchasing or vendor relations experience
  • Proficient in excel and g suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Experience in a high stress environment managing projects
  • Comfortable with multi channel vendor communication
  • Detail oriented
  • Willingness to travel including holidays evenings and weekends
  • Ability to tolerate loud noise and busy environments
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the u s
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones

Job Qualifications

  • Proven ability to navigate excel and g suite including v-lookup pivot tables and formulas
  • Familiarity with production equipment such as tenting stage decking truss heavy equipment fencing and sanitation considered a plus
  • Ability to negotiate contracts in production related categories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with effective time management
  • Previous experience in purchasing or vendor relations
  • Strong problem solving and composure under pressure
  • Experience managing multiple large-scale projects
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with analytical mindset
  • OSHA-10 and forklift certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Partner and collaborate with procurement department to maintain communication channels with key stakeholder departments
  • Evaluate vendors using outreach and performance metrics including delivery timeliness price and quality
  • Coordinate vendor contracting including service agreements insurance credentials labor booking scheduling and invoice processing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Audit and submit invoices and purchase orders for current vendor deals
  • Organize project details schedules and spend data with excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • Ensure product and service quality during vendor negotiations
  • Manage special projects and tasks as assigned
  • Travel as required for events
  • Research and evaluate alternative suppliers and assist internal teams
  • Ensure purchases align with design specifications budgets and timelines
