Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or inside sales experience preferred
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Professional business casual attire
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to maintain a tidy and organized front desk and visitor area

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in inside sales or customer service roles preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word

Job Duties

  • Developing new sales opportunities using outbound lists from various CRM systems, emails, and lead follow-ups
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Answering customers' questions, resolving their concerns, and providing additional information via calls and emails
  • Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services
  • Maintaining and improving the database of prospects and researching new leads
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
  • Tend to high volume of calls
  • Monday - Friday work schedule, 8-5 or 9-6 with occasional Saturdays as needed
  • Answer, direct, transfer or forward telephone calls
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks
  • Help keep main areas tidy
  • Assist office staff with organizing sales files
  • Prepare potential customer questionnaires
  • Notify personnel of waiting guests/visitors when necessary
  • Update office-wide calendars and spreadsheets when needed
  • Help manage office supply inventory
  • Check for incoming mail twice daily
  • Update existing customer information
  • Document incoming calls/information as needed
  • Maintain reception, conference room, kitchen and bathroom areas clean
