Job Requirements

High school diploma
Previous serving experience required with at least six months in fine dining or upscale setting or luxury hotel or resort
Demonstrated commitment to world class guest service and anticipating guest expectations
Excellent guest relation and communication skills comfortable with warm sincere hospitality
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Terrific attention to details
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to be proactive exercise good judgment and take initiative
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

Answer room service phone with 3 rings using proper telephone etiquette
Take guest food and beverage orders utilizing suggestive selling techniques
Accurately quote estimated time of delivery monitor status and follow-up with guest if delayed more than 5 minutes
Set up guests orders on table or tray according to Forbes standards
Ensure all orders are complete including appropriate condiments and silverware
Transport tables or trays to guest rooms or pool maintaining food presentation standards
Anticipate guests needs respond promptly to requests
