Under the supervision of the Manager of Admitting and in close collaboration with the Admitting Supervisor, the Information Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing the hospital lobby area. This role involves ensuring that all patients and visitors receive accurate information and guidance upon arrival. The coordinator must confirm whether patients are pre-registered and ensure they are directed to the correct department with all necessary documentation. Additionally, this position requires maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor with patients, visitors, and hospital staff. The Information Desk Coordinator's duties support both the department's goals and the hospital's overall mission by enhancing patient flow and improving the patient experience.

This position demands exceptional customer service skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work cooperatively within a team setting.
