The position is for an Industry 4.0 Data Architect within the Raytheon Industry 4.0 Connected Factory Intelligence team. This role is central to designing and optimizing data architecture aligned with business needs, ensuring secure, accessible, and reliable storage of vast datasets. The Data Architect will develop advanced algorithms to transform raw data into insightful business intelligence. This includes oversight of SQL query guidelines, ETL pipeline design, cloud connectivity to data lakes and warehouses, and preparing data for advanced AI, machine learning (ML), and predictive analytics initiatives within Industry 4.0 frameworks. A critical function of this role is acting as the technical liaison across various business units and industrial sites, ensuring seamless integration of solutions that support smart factory technologies and secure digital architectures. The position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship to comply with government regulations.

The candidate should have extensive experience, at least 10 years in relevant fields supported by a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree, and a minimum of four years specifically related to Industry 4.0, smart factory technologies, and data engineering. Qualified applicants will bring proven database management skills, architecture design expertise, and advanced knowledge of data flow processes and SQL queries. Experience or knowledge in cybersecurity compliance, Ignition system administration, API development, and data visualization are preferred for successful execution of the role.
