Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to read and print simple sentences
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- physical ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift weights as specified
- ability to follow one- or two-step instructions
- attention to detail and ability to identify safety or contamination issues
- willingness to work in a safe and alert manner
- availability to work with minimal supervision
- fork truck license preferred but optional
- ability to perform tasks involving cognitive function and sound judgment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow process instructions and complete paperwork
- knowledge of GMP and sanitary practices
- ability to ensure product quality and food safety
- communication skills to report suspicious activities
- capability to coordinate with production personnel
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to operate fork truck (optional) with valid license
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- mental alertness and ability to work safely
- caring and committed attitude towards safety
Job Duties
- Operating different types of process equipment with varying automation levels
- following process control instructions and formula recipes
- ensuring correct amounts and quality of raw materials are used
- adhering to GMP and sanitary practices
- monitoring food safety and facility cleanliness
- coordinating product transfer to packaging lines
- preparing raw materials for processing
- assisting in cleaning and inventory of raw material storage
- optionally operating fork truck with license
- performing other assigned duties
