Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Willingness to work overtime if required
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to abide by company policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking and lifting
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to follow safety protocols and chemical handling guidelines
Job Duties
- Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum or backpack vacuum, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing in an industrial/warehouse setting
- Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors
- Dust/wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds
- Clean/disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors
- Restock supplies/refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners
- Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
- Operate specialized equipment as needed
- Report irregularities to prevent losses and damage
- Abide by and enforce company and client policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks as required
