Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year professional cooking experience or equivalent education
  • Ability to stand for long periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift frequently up to 35 pounds using team lift or equipment
  • Adherence to ISS/Guckenheimer dress code
  • Commitment to follow health, safety and food quality standards
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures including HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to operate large volume culinary equipment including slicers, mixers, blenders and choppers
  • Basic culinary and food prep skills
  • Understanding of workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills to report issues and participate in meetings
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints

Job Duties

  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • Always provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques as required by work assignment
  • Execute Net Menu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets or chef
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following ISS/Guckenheimer and government regulatory rules
  • Notify management of ingredient discrepancies, equipment safety issues or other situations requiring attention
  • Attend all daily meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
