Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year cooking experience or equivalent education
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
- Ability to work within scheduled hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
- Willingness to adhere to dress code and workplace safety policies
- Commitment to comply with HSEQ policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience or equivalent education
- Knowledge of cooking and preparation techniques
- Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment
- Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety guidelines
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Clock in and out for workday and breaks
- Provide the highest quality of service according to ISS Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures compliant with federal, state, and local guidelines
- Apply basic cooking and preparation techniques
- Execute recipe preparation based on production sheets and chef instructions
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory and company standards
- Notify management of ingredient discrepancies, equipment safety issues, or other concerns
- Attend daily meetings
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
