Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year cooking experience or equivalent education
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
  • Ability to work within scheduled hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
  • Willingness to adhere to dress code and workplace safety policies
  • Commitment to comply with HSEQ policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of cooking and preparation techniques
  • Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment
  • Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety guidelines
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Basic communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • Provide the highest quality of service according to ISS Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures compliant with federal, state, and local guidelines
  • Apply basic cooking and preparation techniques
  • Execute recipe preparation based on production sheets and chef instructions
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory and company standards
  • Notify management of ingredient discrepancies, equipment safety issues, or other concerns
  • Attend daily meetings
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary
