Currently, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join their Room Dining team as In-Room Dining Servers. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a world-class luxury hotel environment committed to delivering personalized, attentive, and professional guest service. As an In-Room Dining Server, you will play a critical role in creating memorable dining experiences for guests by providing comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and anticipating guest needs with warmth and efficiency. The position includes delivering food and beverage orders promptly and accurately to guest rooms and private residences, ensuring all special requests and amenities are handled with care. You will be responsible for greeting guests, expertly describing menu items with engaging and vivid details, and managing tray and dishware removal in a timely manner. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of room service stations and anticipating guest satisfaction throughout service are key aspects of the role.

This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays, with at least two overnight shifts per week. The ideal candidates will possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to carry and balance trays efficiently. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of food service or a related background, high school education or equivalent, and proficiency in English reading, writing, and oral communication. TIP certification is preferred.

Job Duties

  • Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods
  • Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests such as amenities to the guest room and in their residences in a timely manner, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order
  • Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • communicate options for removal of trays and dishware
  • respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Ability to work weekends, overnights and holidays
  • will be overnight relief and will need to work 2 overnight shifts in the week
