Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent walking throughout guest floors, kitchens, hallways, and service areas
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable handling food, beverages, trays, and service equipment
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Food handler certification and/or alcohol awareness certification as required by local or state regulations
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business demands require

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, hotel, in-room dining, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
  • Set up and present orders in guest rooms according to established hotel standards and guest preferences
  • Provide personalized service by anticipating guest needs and creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience
  • Describe menu offerings, preparation methods, ingredients, and pricing knowledgeably and enthusiastically
  • Accommodate guest dietary restrictions and special requests whenever possible
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Assist in leading daily room service operations to ensure smooth service flow and proper staffing coverage
