Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking throughout guest floors, kitchens, hallways, and service areas
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable handling food, beverages, trays, and service equipment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Food handler certification and/or alcohol awareness certification as required by local or state regulations
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business demands require
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hotel, in-room dining, or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
- Set up and present orders in guest rooms according to established hotel standards and guest preferences
- Provide personalized service by anticipating guest needs and creating a welcoming, elevated dining experience
- Describe menu offerings, preparation methods, ingredients, and pricing knowledgeably and enthusiastically
- Accommodate guest dietary restrictions and special requests whenever possible
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- Assist in leading daily room service operations to ensure smooth service flow and proper staffing coverage
