Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Must stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds without assistance and heavier items with assistance
  • Must be able to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Adherence to company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to use MICROS system
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dining environment throughout the day
  • Complete closing duties including restocking items and securing workspace
  • Present accurate check to guests and process payments
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management
  • Ensure professional and clean uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Assist guests with disabilities and special needs
  • Develop positive working relationships with team members
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier items with assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
