Job Duties
- Take room service orders over the phone
- answer questions on menu selections
- check with kitchen staff
- answer guest questions or concerns regarding wine
- place and log call back for room service order
- notify guests and management of delays in service delivery
- communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
- maintain cleanliness of work areas
- record transactions in MICROS system
- complete closing MICROS reports
- process all payment methods
- follow company safety policies
- report accidents and unsafe conditions
- complete safety training
- maintain professional appearance
- ensure confidentiality and protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests
- anticipate and address guests' service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- speak with clear and professional language
- answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- develop positive working relationships
- support team goals
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting
- perform other job duties as requested
