  • No prior supervisory experience necessary, but a desire to grow is important

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitutes with attention to quality and presentation
  • Regulate cooking temperatures for various food items, ensuring perfect results
  • Thaw food items appropriately and maintain proper portion sizes and garnishes
  • Monitor and log food quality, making recommendations for excess items
  • Communicate with the chef and food & beverage staff regarding menu specials and inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures, reporting any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions
  • Assist in training and motivating team members while being a role model in the kitchen
