Job Requirements
- Treat clients with dignity and respect
- weekend availability if applicable
- effective communication skills
- valid driver’s license and auto insurance if applicable
- compliance with State of Connecticut regulations, DMV check, and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous caregiving or related experience is advantageous
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow care plans and instructions
- compassionate and patient demeanor
Job Duties
- Provide companionship, assist with light housekeeping, prepare meals, give medication reminders, run errands, provide transportation to appointments, assist with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care
