Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledge of HTS and CFR 19 regulations
  • familiarity with customs clearance procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • analytical and time management skills
  • high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or college degree preferred
  • 2+ years in a similar role preferred
  • knowledge of HTS and CFR 19, customs regulations and PGA clearances
  • familiarity with USMCA, GSP and other tariff treatment programs
  • knowledge of INCOTERMS

Job Duties

  • Works with vendors / manufacturers, freight forwarders, and internal team to manage priority shipments
  • file ISF timely to avoid customs penalties
  • maintain CargoWise with timely and accurate shipment information
  • process entry including classification and valuation of products under HTS schedule
  • develop and maintain parts dictionaries for each client
  • keep updated on social tariff treatment programs including USMCA and GSP
  • coordinate delivery including cargo availability and proof of delivery
  • stay current with customs regulations and global customs requirements
  • participate in development and management of compliance policies
  • support internal departments to implement policies
  • perform other tasks assigned by manager
