Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to three years related experience
- At least one year industry experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills, responding promptly and professionally to customer needs and requests for service and assistance
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence
- Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Strong computer skills

Job Duties
- Receive, review, and process import documentation for an assigned base of accounts
- Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP
- Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities
- Provide excellent and timely customer service by informing the customer of the status of their shipment(s)
- Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required
