Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in air and ocean import/export operations
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs clearance procedures
  • Proficient with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in air and ocean import/export operations within a freight forwarding environment
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs clearance procedures, Incoterms, and export compliance
  • Proficient with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for working with customers, carriers, and overseas partners

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage air and ocean import/export shipments from booking through delivery
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation including HBL/MBL, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings
  • Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, truckers, and customs brokers to ensure timely cargo movement
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays or exceptions
  • Ensure all shipments comply with U.S. Customs, TSA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Provide accurate updates to customers and maintain strong client relationships
  • Enter and maintain shipment data in CargoWise or similar TMS system
