Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in processing customs entries in ACE
  • Familiarity with PGA process for medical device food items etc
  • Knowledge of FTZ inbond process is desired
  • Experience in handling air ocean import arrangement
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint Teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of customs entry process requirements and workflow
  • Customer-oriented with a proactive and adaptive mindset
  • Ability to adhere to client-specific standard operating procedures
  • Mandatory experience with CargoWise software

Job Qualifications

  • Above average skills with MS Office Suite Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint Teams

  • Customer-focused can-do and learn attitude
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures specific to a client
  • Experience with CargoWise software is required

Job Duties

  • Clear goods through customs working with agencies such as FDA EPA LACEY USDA etc
  • Classify goods according to the tariff coding system
  • Prepare and process import documentation in compliance with customs regulations laws and procedures
  • Bill customers
  • Monitor or trace the location of goods
  • Assist clients in obtaining bonds and other necessary documentation
  • Arrange for transportation or warehousing of imported products
