Job Requirements

  • 1 plus years of experience in processing customs entries in ACE
  • Understanding of PGA requirements
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven understanding of the customs entry process requirements and flow
  • Customer focused can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures specific to a client

Job Duties

  • Clear goods through customs working with government agencies such as FDA and USDA
  • Classify goods according to tariff coding system
  • Prepare and process import documentation according to customs regulations laws or procedures
  • Arrange for payment of taxes and duties on shipments
  • Bill customers
  • Sign documents on behalf of clients using powers of attorney
  • Monitor or trace the location of goods
  • Assist clients in obtaining bonds and other necessary documentation
  • Arrange for transportation or warehousing of imported products
