Job Description

The Dishwasher/Busser role is a crucial part of the restaurant operations, primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of dishware, utensils, floors, tables, and chairs. This role ensures that the back-of-house and front-of-house areas run smoothly by managing essential cleaning duties and assisting with food storage organization. The individual in this position will play a key role in sanitation, safety, and customer service, contributing to the overall dining experience by keeping the restaurant environment clean and ready for service. The role also involves physically demanding tasks such as mopping, sweeping, unloading deliveries, and occasionally assembling and delivering take-out orders to guests. Organized and motivated candidates who take pride in their work and can perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail will thrive in this position. Although primarily a labor-intensive role, it offers a chance to be a vital part of the day-to-day operations behind the scenes in a respected restaurant setting. Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • strong attention to detail
  • good physical stamina and endurance
  • basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards

Job Duties

  • clean and maintain dishware utensils floors tables and chairs
  • maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant by mopping sweeping floors removing trash cleaning and equipment care
  • unload delivery trucks supplies and place in proper storage area
  • stock and rotate all needed supplies in the service areas and dining room
  • assemble take-out orders and deliver food to guest as needed
