ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required
ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
strong communication skills
ability to work well in a team
good time management skills
willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
prepare food within outlined ticket times
read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
use knives and other food preparation equipment safely
operate large volume cooking equipment including flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers
set up kitchen equipment for service
maintain clean and sanitary work areas
