Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
  • capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • full mobility of hands and arms
  • willingness to learn and take direction
  • work well with others
  • strong work ethic

  • ability to follow detailed food recipes
  • experience using kitchen equipment preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
  • prepare food within outlined ticket times
  • read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
  • use knives and other food preparation equipment
  • operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves and dishwashers
  • set up equipment
  • verify stock
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area
