Job Requirements
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work 10 to 12 hour shifts varying by route
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to push or pull up to 450 pounds on wheels
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
- Capability to work in all weather conditions
- Familiarity with smartphone technology for work
- Physical fitness for manual labor
- Compliance with company safety rules and local regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Ability to use smartphone devices and adapt to routing and inventory management technology
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Physical capability to perform demanding lifting and pushing tasks
Job Duties
- Operate a vehicle in accordance with company rules and safety protocols as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR)
- Complete and submit customer tickets as required
- Follow route assignments as directed and complete end of day documentation including picture taking and notes
- Pressure wash and repair, sort, and inspect waste/recycling containers
- Manage inventory of waste/recycling containers including data entry
- Operate forklifts (optional)
- Work in a fast-paced environment
