Job Description
FleetGenius, LLC is a leading provider of nationwide, end-to-end sustainable container management services. The company specializes in the delivery, retrieval, repairs, warranty administration, and recycling for both plastic and steel container inventories. FleetGenius is dedicated to promoting sustainability and operational efficiency through eco-friendly practices and innovative technology. The company also extends its services to bulky waste pickup and apartment valet services, supporting customers' broader waste management needs with a comprehensive, streamlined approach. Operating through a fully paperless system, FleetGenius captures all service activities electronically, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and enhanced operational workflow across all service touchpoints. This commitment to technology-driven service has established FleetGenius as a trusted partner in the waste management and container handling industry.
The role of Hybrid Driver at FleetGenius is a full-time position that offers weekly pay at a rate of $19.00 per hour. As a Hybrid Driver, you will play a crucial role in the company’s operations by focusing on the upkeep and maintenance of the company’s yard and site, regardless of weather conditions. You will operate a 16-foot box truck to safely load and transport containers to and from various customer locations. The role requires excellent navigation skills to maneuver through driveways, alleyways, parking lots, and busy roadways, sometimes in tight and challenging environments with low overhead clearances.
This position requires proficiency in smartphone use and the ability to adapt to FleetGenius's routing and inventory management technology. Your daily activities will begin early, starting at 6:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts. You will be responsible not only for driving and delivery but also for tasks such as pressure washing and minor repairs of waste and recycling containers, as well as sorting and inspecting containers. Inventory management tasks, including data entry, are also part of this comprehensive role. While forklift operation is a plus, it is not mandatory. This role suits candidates who thrive in a fast-paced work environment and have the physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting and pushing heavy weights.
Joining FleetGenius as a Hybrid Driver means becoming part of a dynamic, forward-thinking company committed to sustainability and technological innovation. With a strong emphasis on safety, operational excellence, and employee development, FleetGenius offers a great working environment that fosters growth and positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a dependable, structured job with consistent weekly pay, a supportive team, and opportunities for advancement within the company. FleetGenius values its employees and provides all the necessary tools and work gear, including a company phone and uniforms, ensuring you are well-equipped to perform your duties efficiently and safely.
