Hyatt Regency Louisville is a premier hotel located in the heart of downtown Louisville, offering convenient proximity to top city attractions and the Kentucky International Convention Center. We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our hospitality team. This leadership position entails working in various shifts, including both AM and PM rounds, ensuring a smooth operation of our food and beverage services. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to maintain stellar service quality and foster a positive dining environment. This role is essential in motivating and supporting the staff, managing daily operations efficiently, and confidently resolving guest issues to guarantee an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on service excellence, team-building, operational oversight, and sales growth through innovative promotional activities.
In this role, the Food & Beverage Supervisor acts as a pivotal figure within the team—ensuring that every meal offered meets the highest standards of taste and presentation. They will address guest feedback constructively to turn any concerns into positive engagements, enhancing the hotel’s reputation and guest satisfaction rates. Additionally, the supervisor will foster an environment of teamwork and open communication, leading by example during team meetings and daily interactions. Beyond service, the role also includes managing financial aspects such as cost controls, accurate cash handling, inventory management, and staff scheduling. Utilizing technology effectively to streamline operations will be a key component of success in this position.
Furthermore, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will spearhead growth initiatives by developing creative promotional campaigns aimed at attracting more guests and increasing sales. Supporting ongoing training and performance development of the team is also an integral part of the responsibilities, ensuring staff contribute meaningfully to overall business success. Candidates with at least one year of progressive hospitality experience, especially with supervisory duties, are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure, are critical for thriving in this role. Competence in interpreting financial data and performing basic arithmetic is also required.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of progressive experience in hotels or related fields
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- Demonstrated initiative and effective listening, understanding, and clarification abilities
- Competence in interpreting financial data and performing basic arithmetic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College coursework in hospitality is a plus
- At least one year of progressive experience in hotels or related fields
- Supervisory experience preferred
