The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Hyatt Place Tampa is an essential leadership position responsible for ensuring impeccable cleanliness standards and smooth operations of the housekeeping department. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of room attendants and house attendants, maintaining high standards of sanitation and guest room presentation. You act as the operations boss, conducting inspections, generating reports, and performing productivity checks to guarantee that every area meets or exceeds Hyatt Place's quality expectations. In addition to your supervisory duties, you will be the team captain who inspires and motivates the housekeeping staff through clear communication and hands-on training.
Confidently taking charge of safety and security protocols also falls within your purview. You will manage lost-and-found items, control key access to sensitive locations such as master keys, storage rooms, and secure files, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Job Qualifications
