Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel management or related field
  • Ability to work a minimum of 47.5 hours per week
  • Must customarily and regularly direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates
  • Strong administrative, executive, or professional skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in hotel management
  • Strong understanding of revenue management and cost control
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Experience supervising multiple departments
  • Knowledge of Hyatt brand standards and hospitality industry trends

Job Duties

  • Supervise operating departments in the absence of General Manager or Manager on Duty
  • Assist the General Manager in achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation and cost control
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
  • Oversee development and training of associates
  • Direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents
  • Perform administrative, executive, and professional tasks using discretion and independent judgement
  • Manage daily operations to ensure efficient hotel functioning
