Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of successful field sales experience
  • Minimum one year of experience selling HVAC or building automation systems
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated initiative and creative problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum one year of successful field sales experience
  • Minimum one year of experience selling HVAC or building automation systems
  • Commitment to integrity and quality in business
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Sell Johnson Controls offerings to building owners at the Director or Vice President level with minimal supervision
  • Focus on improving existing and new building facilities to help owners achieve business objectives
  • Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements including multi-year contracts with assigned customers
  • Build long-term customer relationships and partnerships
  • Address operational and environmental objectives of customers
  • Recommend solutions linking customer objectives to total value and competitive advantage
  • Differentiate Johnson Controls services and products through creative and innovative sales approaches
  • Establish a mentee relationship with a Senior Account Executive for professional development
