Job Description
Nextech is a leading company in the HVAC/R industry, renowned for its commitment to quality, integrity, and delivering exceptional value to its customers. For over 30 years, Nextech has established itself as the largest HVAC/R service provider in the United States, proudly serving thousands of commercial customers nationwide. With a dedicated team of more than 2,000 professionals, Nextech embraces a culture that values talent, technology, and teamwork, creating an environment where employees are encouraged to grow, excel, and make a real impact. This growing company supports its employees with extensive resources and opportunities, fostering a workplace where careers can thrive beyond ordinary limits.
As an HVAC/R Technician at Nextech, you become an essential part of the team that ensures commercial clients receive reliable, high-quality service. This role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, performing installations, maintenance, and emergency services. You will be using state-of-the-art technology such as company-provided iPads to document your service details accurately. Nextech provides you with a fully equipped company vehicle complete with gas cards, allowing you to start your day from home and travel efficiently to various job sites. This technician role also emphasizes excellent communication with customers and dispatch teams to maintain smooth scheduling and delivery of services.
Nextech offers a rewarding environment with competitive compensation ranging from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. In addition to the base pay, technicians can qualify for up to $2,000 in sign-on bonuses, seasonal bonuses, and receive a generous tool allowance to keep their equipment in peak condition. The company benefits package is comprehensive and includes multiple health plans including a free employee-only option, dental and vision coverage starting after 30 days, life insurance equal to the annual salary, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match on the first 6%. There are also optional supplemental insurance coverages available, such as life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance. Beyond financial benefits, Nextech supports professional growth through paid training, certification support, and education reimbursement.
This physically demanding role requires a technician who is able to work safely at heights, lift and maneuver heavy equipment, and maintain stamina throughout the day performing various physical tasks like bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders. Safety and adherence to all applicable procedures are paramount. Nextech truly values work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality, and seeks skilled professionals ready to embrace overtime, weekend, or holiday work as needed. They emphasize not just filling a position, but hiring individuals who want to power up their careers and make their next big move by joining a leader in the HVAC/R service industry. At Nextech, every employee’s contribution matters, and the company takes pride in enabling its people to succeed and advance in their careers.
