The Human Resources Manager position at Delta Hotel by Marriott Santa Clara is a full-time career opportunity offering a salary range between $95,000 and $105,000 annually. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field or equivalent hospitality experience
Minimum 3 years of HR management experience preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry
Strong understanding of payroll benefits administration and employment law
Excellent time management organizational and follow-up skills with a high attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and foster a culture of collaboration accountability and respect
Exceptional communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Proficient in payroll systems such as ADP Paychex Workday or similar
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
Creative mindset for developing employee engagement and hotel-based activities

Job Duties

Manage and process bi-weekly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and internal policies
Oversee and maintain employee time management systems including attendance tracking scheduling and leave requests
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records documentation and personnel files in accordance with company and legal requirements
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and hotel HR standards
Serve as the primary HR leader for the property overseeing all day-to-day human resources functions and providing strategic support to hotel leadership
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance leave of absence workers compensation and 401(k) ensuring accuracy confidentiality and effective communication with team members
Lead recruitment onboarding and training efforts to attract hire and retain top talent aligned with the hotels service culture and brand standards
Promote and sustain a positive workplace culture driving employee engagement morale and recognition programs that align with the hotels mission and values
Support diversity equity and inclusion initiatives that foster a respectful and collaborative work environment
Manage conflict resolution with professionalism and confidentiality supporting fair and consistent application of company policies
Lead internal communications related to HR policies employee events and training initiatives
Lead initiatives that improve employee morale retention and organizational culture
Act as a cultural ambassador building strong trusting relationships across all levels of the organization
