As a part of the Hyatt portfolio, Wild Dunes Resort offers a blend of Southern hospitality and modern amenities, making it a favored spot for vacationers and business travelers alike. The resort features a variety of dining options, recreational activities, and upscale facilities that cater to diverse guest needs, from casual beachgoers to culinary enthusiasts. Recognized for its commitment to service excellence, Wild Dunes Resort proudly holds a reputation as a top-tier hospitality establishment in the region. Joining their team means becoming part of a renowned company that was honored as one of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2021, reflecting its dedication to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Coastal Provisions, situated within Wild Dunes Resort, is an upscale, coastal-inspired restaurant celebrated for its refined seafood dishes, aged chops, and seasonal selections sourced from local and regional purveyors. The dining atmosphere marries Charleston-inspired design with fresh, modern coastal aesthetics, providing guests with an elevated culinary experience from breakfast through dinner. With offerings that include handcrafted cocktails, carefully curated wines, and local craft beers, Coastal Provisions stands as a centerpiece of the resort’s dining scene. The restaurant’s commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction is driven by its culinary team, led by Chef de Cuisine Justin Price, who ensures every dish is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented in a polished yet relaxed setting.
The Culinary Supervisor role at Wild Dunes Resort offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire the culinary team in one of the region's most distinguished dining venues. This supervisory position involves overseeing the production and execution of high-quality food products, stepping in to manage the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards. Candidates will engage in hands-on cooking, food preparation, and garnishing, contributing directly to the guest experience. The role spans various culinary environments within the resort, including restaurant and catering settings, providing a dynamic work atmosphere.
Candidates for the Culinary Supervisor position must possess previous culinary experience and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining consistency and excellence in food quality. Supervisors will support the daily preparation and production of menus across all outlets, assist in monitoring inventory and equipment, and cultivate a culture that embodies the Hyatt values of respect, integrity, humility, empathy, creativity, and fun. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the hospitality industry's dynamic scheduling needs.
Wild Dunes Resort offers a compelling benefits package including free room nights, discounted and friends and family room rates, comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance available after 30 days of employment, paid time off and holiday pay for both full-time and part-time employees, paid family bonding time and adoption assistance, a 401K plan with company match, and access to the region’s coolest colleague dining facility. This combination of benefits and a supportive work environment makes the Culinary Supervisor role a rewarding career opportunity for culinary professionals seeking growth and development within a respected hospitality company.
