The role of Expo and Food Runner at CCRH is a vital position that ensures the smooth and accurate delivery of hot food orders to guests. The Expo and Food Runner acts as a critical link between the kitchen and the dining area, verifying that each dish meets the predefined standards and is packaged correctly before reaching the guest. This role also involves maintaining an organized and sanitary work environment, stocking supplies such as soda coolers and condiments, and assisting with other operational tasks such as table cleaning and floor upkeep.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to walk long distances and stay on task with minimal supervision
  • Must be skilled at multi-tasking and following detailed instructions precisely
  • Good communication skills required

Job Duties

  • Double check that prepared food is consistent according to standard operating procedures and the ticket
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Help keep the soda coolers and condiments stocked and ready to be used
  • Run food from the deli to the bingo servers ensuring that the full order is in the bag/to go boxes with the correct ticket
  • Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed
  • Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles, FIFO
  • Keep tickets in order on the expo side from the first ticket that came in to the last ticket
  • Pull tickets as they are being handed out
  • Make sure that all tickets being handed out have all of the items and specifics on the ticket correctly before handing out food to a guest
  • Perform prep work, bus tables, sweep floor and hand out food as necessary
  • Wipe down tables, remove garbage or dirty dishes from dining room, and sweep floors
  • Help keep the servers in the bingo area informed of items that we are running low on or are out of
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
