Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years transportation and logistics office environment experience
  • 3+ years general office experience
  • forklift certification upon hire
  • ability to prioritize shipment coordination tasks
  • general computer proficiency

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2+ years of transportation and logistics office environment experience required
  • 3+ years general office experience required
  • 3+ years transportation and logistics experience in LTL or HUB environment preferred
  • general computer skills high
  • ability to prioritize action items for shipment coordination medium
  • forklift certification upon hire required

Job Duties

  • Understand the requirements and expectations of handling shipments of consequence and make routing suggestions
  • process inbound and outbound documents ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies
  • provide HUB Operations Supervisors with updated information from monitoring inbound boards
  • proactively communicate with internal and external customers regarding shipment status and conduct investigations of discrepancies
  • provide loadouts to HUB Operations Supervisor including proper paperwork
  • communicate with Linehaul Operations Team regarding additional loads and routing requirements
  • update AS400 system accurately with departure and arrival information
  • answer telephones and respond to inquiries, redirect calls and perform general office duties
  • operate manually controlled forklifts to move materials
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • comply with all policies and standards
