The Houseperson role at Miraval is a crucial position within the housekeeping department, supporting the day-to-day operations needed to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position involves responding promptly to guest and staff requests, ensuring supply closets are stocked, transporting linens, handling trash and recycling, and maintaining tools and equipment such as housekeeping golf carts. Additionally, the Houseperson assists with cleaning tasks and minor maintenance jobs such as replacing light bulbs in guest rooms and public areas. Working in a dynamic resort environment, the Houseperson plays a vital part in maintaining Miraval's welcoming atmosphere and commitment to excellence. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions to completion in a timely and efficient manner. Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
- Constant physical movement is involved in performing the duties and tasks of a room attendant
- Frequently position self to clean all zones of the guest room such as the floor, under the bed, behind furniture, and high and low bathroom fixtures throughout the work shift is required
- Will transport up to 300 lbs, will position up to 50 lbs, and will move up to 30 lbs
- Be able to work on their feet in both a well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation and outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.)

Job Duties
- Respond to guest and staff requests for supplies

- Haul trash and recycling from villages to proper trash/recycle bins
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping golf carts
- Replace light bulbs in guestrooms
