The Houseperson position at Hilton is a full-time role within the housekeeping department, focused on maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas of the hotel. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
- ability to stand walk and lift for extended periods
- reliable and punctual
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions
- customer service orientation
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication and interpersonal skills

- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Job Duties
- Clean designated areas including restrooms public areas offices and banquet meeting conference rooms
- perform dusting polishing vacuuming mopping sweeping shampooing carpet washing windows cleaning waxing floors removing and disposing of trash emptying ashtrays
- greet guests in a friendly manner
- report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
- perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects
- deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
