The role of a Houseperson within Hilton is a vital position in the Housekeeping department. This full-time role focuses on cleaning and maintaining designated areas throughout the hotel, including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet, meeting, and conference rooms. The Houseperson plays an essential part in the hotel's ongoing efforts to provide outstanding guest service and achieve financial profitability. This role involves a variety of tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, trash removal, and emptying ashtrays. Beyond these duties, the Houseperson is also expected to greet guests warmly, respond promptly to guest requests, report maintenance issues, and assist in stocking supply rooms.
