The Houseperson role at Hilton is integral to the hotel's daily operations, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and order throughout designated areas to uphold the hotel's high standards of appearance and guest service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to stand walk and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms public areas offices banquet meeting conference rooms
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum mop sweep shampoo carpets wash windows clean wax floors remove and dispose of trash empty ashtrays
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects
  • Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
