We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Houseperson to join the vibrant team at Varsity Club Tucson. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests and owners expect. The Houseperson will play a key part in bringing vacation dreams to life by performing daily cleaning duties and ensuring that all rooms and common areas meet our rigorous quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing excellent service, have an eye for detail, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Houseperson is responsible for a variety of tasks including the removal and replacement of linens and towels, replenishing guest amenities, and maintaining clean and orderly workstations. They will regularly inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture to identify stains, damages, or wear, reporting any maintenance needs for swift resolution. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work from ladders, move furniture, and operate cleaning equipment safely. The successful candidate will be flexible and responsive to the spontaneous needs of guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Job Requirements
- Physically able to work from ladder
- Physically able to move furniture
- Able to operate cleaning equipment
- Tolerant to exposure to general cleaning chemicals
- Capable to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust, and noise
- Ability to work full-time
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate well with guests in English
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job functions
- Experience in hospitality industry is advantageous
Job Duties
- Provide excellent service to guests and owners during their stay
- Assist promptly with guest inquiries and needs following brand standards
- Provide information about resort services, activities, and local attractions
- Remove used linens and towels and replace with new ones
- Transport clean and dirty linen between operations and buildings
- Maintain work carts and stations in an organized and efficient manner
- Inspect carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear and report maintenance issues
- Replenish linen and guest amenities
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Flexibly respond to spontaneous guest demands
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public and guest areas
