Located at the Hilton Garden Inn in San Diego Rancho Bernardo, CA, InnVentures is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their housekeeping team as a House Person. This role is pivotal in helping the hotel maintain a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment that feels like home to travelers. Understanding that many guests value comfort and familiarity, the House Person position contributes significantly to ensuring the guests’ stay is memorable and enjoyable.
As a House Person, you will be part of a supportive team that keeps the hotel’s public areas spotless and inviting. Duties include cleaning public bathrooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas, performing tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, and mopping. Additionally, you will greet guests warmly when encountered, enhancing their overall experience. Handling deliveries efficiently and keeping storage areas organized will also fall under your responsibilities. You will support special requests promptly and professionally, assist with guest room cleaning, laundry, and kitchen duties as needed, and work collaboratively with the maintenance team to report any broken or defective items.
In this role, physical endurance is essential. You will be required to be on your feet for entire shifts, performing continuous movement, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds. The position requires flexibility and availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic communication skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous cleaning janitorial or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to continuously move regularly bend lift push pull carry and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Clean public bathrooms meeting rooms and other common areas of the hotel including removing trash vacuuming mopping and other necessary functions
- Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
- Receive and put away deliveries while maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas
- Accommodate special requests by guests and other employees quickly and professionally
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms laundry and kitchen duties as requested
- Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken defective or missing items
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
