Job Requirements

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy amounts of weight on a consistent basis
candidate must have open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
must have good communication skills
ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
must be able to bend, stoop and climb

Job Qualifications

Ability to perform all houseperson-related tasks and proficiently use job-related tools and equipment
ability to remain calm in various situations, use sound judgment and effectively solve problems
ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals
strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
ability to follow instructions, prioritize and multi-task

Job Duties

Keeps the service landings clean and organized
removes trays from the guest floors
keep corridors on guest room floors clean
maintain cleanliness of stairwells
baseboards and pictures in guest corridors must be dusted daily
all guest room doors must be free of scuff marks
keeps ice machine room clean
keep guest elevator landings clean
moves furniture upon request
completes guest requests
have a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
ensure hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment
ensures that assigned service landing closets are stocked at proper linen and supply par levels
empties guest room linens on an hourly basis or as needed
empties guest room garbage on an hourly basis or as needed
communicate with room attendants and assist them with stripping guest rooms
