Currently, Carson Hot Springs Resort is seeking to hire a dedicated Houseperson to join its housekeeping team. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and orderliness that guests expect from their stay. The Houseperson position is public-facing, responsible for both common area maintenance and supporting the housekeeping of guest rooms. Although prior experience in hotel housekeeping or heavy cleaning is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The resort is committed to training the right candidates to ensure they meet and exceed the expectations for work quality and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of multitasking efficiently. This person must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within the team, always ready to assist where needed to create a clean and welcoming environment. This full-time role offers a competitive starting wage of $17.13 per hour. Job Requirements
- Previous hotel or heavy cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Flexible availability
- Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Speak, read, write, and understand English

Job Duties
- Making sure linens and supplies are stocked and getting them to housekeepers
- Assist housekeepers with linens and trash
- Flip mattresses and move furniture
- Vacuum and clean public areas of the property
- Floor care
- Light maintenance such as changing light bulbs
- Other job duties as assigned
