The role of the Store Cleaning Associate is integral to the daily success of the business. This position requires a diligent and proactive individual who is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the entire store premises, including the sales floor, restrooms, back-office areas, and parking lot. Working in a fast-paced retail environment, the associate must be capable of managing multiple cleaning and upkeep tasks efficiently while also providing exceptional guest service. The selected candidate will be expected to follow all health and safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, particularly in the handling and use of chemicals.

In addition to routine cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal, the associate will be responsible for specific tasks related to the food service side, including maintaining pita bread inventory throughout the day and boxing pita orders for customers. This role also requires keen attention to detail in cleaning store fixtures, windows, mirrored surfaces, and polishing stainless steel while adhering to high sanitation standards. Flexibility is key, as the job involves supporting various departments and may require working nights, weekends, and holidays based on store needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations gracefully, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Physical dexterity and the capability to perform tasks such as pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and enduring standing or bending for extended hours are essential.
